About Toy Lab

On December 29, 2001, Tommy Rueff and Sean Mullaney held the first Extreme Toys toy-making class as a fundraiser for Happen, Inc. Extreme Toys evolved from Mullaney's nieces and nephews gathering different toy parts from his shop at Bang Zoom Design Ltd. and putting them together in new and different ways. Bang Zoom Design Ltd. is a toy invention firm located in Eden Park.

The Extreme Toys classes were so successful that Rueff and Mullaney opened Happen's Toy Lab, as a non-profit extension of Happen, Inc., in a recently vacated ballet studio next door to Happen, Inc.

Happen's Toy Lab is the only one of its kind in the whole world! We invite you to come and enjoy the Toy Lab experience for yourself. Happen's Toy Lab officially opened on December 21, 2002.
